Paige, I love to see that you are still writing! Thank you for resharing old memories. I did not know that you were in Haiti. Your pictures look familiar. By chance were you at the La Croix New Testament Mission?

Always writing ✍️ glad you still are too! And yes, I went back in summer 2015! Have you been there through La Croix New Testament Mission too?

That is awesome! Yes, I’ve been involved with them for about 25 years. I was in Haiti in early 2017 and spent time at the Mission. I still work to support serving with Friends of Haiti. I did love my time in Haiti. I would love to go back.

It’s a beautiful country filled with beautiful people. It is incredibly difficult and heartbreaking with what is happening at the moment with all the unrest.

Hi Paige! Congratulations on finding your calling in teaching English to other people 🥳🥳 Finding that forever job truly gives meaning and a deeper purpose to one's work. Some people just take longer to get to their own lighthouse, but hopefully we all reach it in the end ✨

It all sounds like a brilliant experience, Paige. My son's waiting to hear whether he's got a spot to go to teach in Japan and in the meantime is teaching English as a foreign language here in the UK and loving it. Such a rewarding job.

Incredibly rewarding! When I lived in Manchester last year I volunteered with two wonderful organizations. I still think about the students I taught there often. I’m so glad your son is in this field. I hope he is able to go to Japan…what a wonderful experience that will be! 🤞
